Nick Maynard

Nick is the Managing Director of Proximity Communications, a marketing communications agency. He has previously worked in Dubai and Bahrain,
and still plays rugby for the Bahrain Golden Oldies. Married in September 2006, he and his wife have no children – yet!

Pam is the principal consultant for Beresford Blake Thomas, an HR and recruitment consultancy. Married, she has been in the UAE for nine months and enjoys reading, swimming and socialising.

Sami Wadih Sidawi

Sami is the Managing Director of Al Nasr Contracting, which is engaged in a wide variety of fields, including infrastructure, building construction and
landscaping. Married to May, with two grown-up children, Samer and ana, he enjoys travel and boating.

Simon Stamper

Simon is the General Manager of the Intercontinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi. Married with a seventeen year old daughter, he enjoys sports, rugby and photography.

Houssam is the District Manager for Emirates Airlines
and has over 15 years experience in the airlines industry. Married with two small children, Tariq and Mia, his hobbies including horse riding and fishing.
